🧼 Are your soaps actually handmade?

Yes — every bar is handmade in small batches by one slightly sleep-deprived human (hi 👋). No factories, no conveyor belts, just soap, creativity, and occasional chaos.


🌿 What ingredients do you use?

I use skin-loving ingredients that your skin will actually be happy about. No mystery chemicals you can’t pronounce while squinting at the label.

For scent I use essentials oils and fragrance oils, this will be marked clearly on the label.

🧼 Wait… isn’t there lye in soap?!

When oils meet sodium hydroxide (lye), a chemical reaction called saponification happens.

This is where:

  • oils + lye = soap + glycerin

And by the time the process is finished, the sodium hydroxide is completely used up in the reaction.

There is none left behind in the final bar of soap.


🧴 Are your products good for sensitive skin?

Many customers with sensitive skin love our products, but everyone is different. If your skin is dramatic, we recommend trying a small piece first before committing to a full soap relationship.


🛁 How long does soap last?

Long enough for you to emotionally bond with it… and then be sad when it’s gone.

Typically, a bar lasts 3–6 weeks depending on how enthusiastically you shower.

🧼 Do your soaps melt quickly?

Only if you treat them like a bath bomb and leave them sitting in a puddle of water.

Soap prefers a dry, happy life between uses.


📦 Do you restock items?

The good sellers I will restock! But many products are small batch or seasonal, so once they’re gone, they may go into “legend status.”

Translation: don’t wait too long.


 

💬 Can I request custom orders?

Yes you can! If I can make it without needing a degree in chemistry or cloning myself, I will.

🚚 Shipping Information

📦 Where do you ship?

We currently ship within Canada only.  I live in Dieppe NB, where local delivery/pick up is also possible. I also attend markets throughout the year where my products are available. 


⏱️ How long does processing take?

Orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days.

Please note: I am one person, not a warehouse. If things are busy, I may be:

  • making soap
  • packing orders
  • working my full-time job
  • on vacation
  • negotiating peace treaties with my to-do list

🚚 How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on your location:

  • Canada: typically 3–7 business days after dispatch
  • Remote areas: please allow a little extra time (the mail has to go on adventures too)

📬 How will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped using reliable carriers (the ones that hopefully don’t send your package on a cross-country vacation before arriving).

You’ll receive tracking once your order ships.


💸 Do you offer free shipping?

Free shipping on orders over $95.

Otherwise, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We don’t control it… but I do wish I did.


🧼 What if my soap arrives sad or broken?

Soap is usually very resilient, but if something arrives damaged, please contact me.

I’ll fix it faster than you can say “that was supposed to smell like lavender.”


🔄 Do you accept returns?

Because our products are handmade and personal care items, I generally do not accept returns.

However, if something isn’t right, reach out — I'm a friendly human.
