Welcome to my little corner of the internet — where soap is handmade in Dieppe NB, and life is busy.

This is a one-person show. Just me, my creativity, a mountain of ideas, and the occasional “why did I think I could do all of this in one day?” moment.

By day, I work full-time as an Executive Assistant, doing all the responsible adult things — emails, meetings, deadlines, and pretending I didn’t just mentally redesign a soap label instead of finishing a spreadsheet. By night (and weekends… and sometimes lunch breaks), I build this business one batch at a time.

Why I started this

Truthfully? I didn’t start this because I had extra time.

I started it because I wanted something that was mine.

Something creative. Something real. Something that would slowly grow with me instead of waiting for “someday.”

And one day it clicked — retirement doesn’t have to be a finish line where I suddenly figure out what I like doing. Maybe I start building it now… while I still have energy, ideas, and just enough stubbornness to keep going after a failed soap batch or two.

So yes — this business is part passion, part creative escape, and part “future me will thank me for this.”

The human behind the soap

When I’m not working or making soap, I’m:

  • Married to my favorite person and raising a teenager...that's a challenge in itself!
  • Living with 3 opinionated animals who believe every delivery box belongs to them
  • Constantly planning my schedule between work, markets, high school football games,...and basketball,...and rugby
  • Planning staycations around the Maritimes to unwind and do photography

Creativity has always been part of me, since I have a background in Interior Design — I just finally decided to give it a job title.

What this is really about

This business is not just soap.

It’s:

  • A creative outlet
  • A long-term dream in progress
  • A future retirement plan that smells way better than most spreadsheets
  • And proof that you can start something meaningful even when life is already full

Every bar, bath bomb, and product is made with care, a little bit of chaos, and a lot of pride.
